I got a new computer and Lightroom Classic, imported my settings and the prints print with the same issue for both from my new computer and old laptop which runs the original lightroom. I can't remember what changed when this started. The color issues appear in the same prints that used to be fine. It doesn't seem to be a double profiling issue. Maybe it isn't even magenta but it seems, to be warmer/probably magenta. The prints matched the originals.įast forward to a year ago when I noticed a slight magenta cast appear in my Charcoal pieces, which is usually a darker neutral color. I meticulously calibrated each piece and practiced thousands of hours of calibration until I got to the point where all I need to calibrate is the exposure as color temperature and tint seem to always be perfectly balanced due to an HDR technique and more controlled lighting and calibration. Managed by print and print preview both unchecked. My printer and custom paper were calibrated by mail with someone who works for the paper company.įor a long time, I printed my prints with my laptop using Lightroom and my custom display, camera, and printer profiles. My monitor is calibrated with another Xrite device. I have an issue that is threatening thousands of hours of work and I hope someone here can provide some good advice.īackground: My lighting is controlled, I photograph my work, the camera is calibrated with an Xrite device. I take pride in matching it to the originals as closely as I can. Hi there, I'm an artist who makes prints of my artworks.
